Tom is a master potter with 20 years of experience teaching and creating pottery. He was previously the head instructor at Goodman Arts Centre and Kampong Glam CC.
In 1998, he fell in love with contemporary ceramics and has devoted his time and life to the world of pottery since. Tom studied ceramics and sculpture-making at NAFA. He loves to play with the different clay, forms, shapes, textures, and colours to create different and unique artworks from his inspirations. His constant love and passion for pottery continues to be an inspiration to his students.
In his younger days, Tom was a professional photographer by training, specialising in landscape and architecture photography. He also enjoys painting in his free time.
