Experience the dramatic art of Raku firing—an ancient ceramic technique known for its bold, unpredictable results. In this fast firing process, glazed ceramic pieces are removed from the kiln while red-hot and placed into combustible materials.  The resulting smoke and reduction effects create striking crackle patterns, metallic finishes, and richly textured surfaces, making every piece truly one of a kind.

Preparation: 
Participants are required to bring four bisque-fired stoneware pieces. Detailed size and clay specifications will be provided upon registration.

All necessary firing materials, glazes, protective gear.
